Bilingual German-English Fun Camp with German course

The KINDERSPRACHCLUB in Berlin Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf offers a wide range of courses in English and German for children, pupils, and teenagers.

From a playgroup in English for 5-year-olds to an German course for older children who want to learn and practice reading and writing in German, singing, dancing, role-playing, music, art, scientific experiments, and movement—numerous activities in German are integrated into the German courses.

All courses are taught by qualified native speakers in German.

Under the motto "Active Language Instruction," we offer opportunities to learn and deepen children's and youths' language skills through many fun activities, such as role-playing and team games. Professionally developed games, sketches, and worksheets encourage children and teenagers to express themselves in German.

Participants experience an active and communicative teaching and support program. Class sizes are a maximum of 8–12 participants each.

Main topics include, among others: Food and drinks / Family and home / Body parts, feelings, and senses / People and animals / Time, seasons, and weather / Alphabet, numbers, and counting / Travel and transportation... and more.

Intensive German course + afternoon fun activities Language courses 1 to 3 weeks in July or August (daily 9:30 am– 5:00 pm, Bilingual German-English Fun Camps)

Camp program, language courses in German starting at 9:30 AM

9:30–10:00 am: placement test / evaluation for language courses 
10:00–12:00 pm: German lessons with games and fun 
12:00–12:30 pm: lunch 
12:30–2:30 pm: German lessons with games and fun 
2:30–5:00 pm: bilingual fun activities in German and English, outdoor activities with games, sports, explorations, scavenger hunts, shows and excursions.

Who is the activity suitable for?

For children from age 5 and teenagers up to 14, in age-appropriate groups. 

Participants learn to express themselves spontaneously and confidently in German. They learn to use common German phrases on everyday topics, such as: food and drinks / family and home / body parts, feelings and senses / people and animals / time, seasons and weather / alphabet, numbers and counting / travel and transportation...
