Individuals who are not accompanied by a child, such as parents who are attending alone or individuals who are not yet parents, grandparents, babysitters, etc., are welcome to participate in our course. Our first aid courses for children and infants are always instructed by highly experienced instructors, and we provide hygienic, specialized practice manikins for practical exercises.
Our seminar leaders are seasoned lecturers who will impart their knowledge from years of practice to you. The overview of topics covered in our first aid for children and babies courses will give you an understanding of the breadth of the seminar's content.
Our course plan
- Identifying emergencies in infants and children and taking the appropriate initial steps.
- What are the first steps to take if a child stops breathing? When should you call emergency services if you're alone? We will answer these crucial questions and more in this segment.
- Hands-on exercises in rescue breathing and cardiac massage using specialized baby and child simulation manikins.
- Respiratory distress, including important subtopics such as pseudo croup, asthma, choking, acute and secondary drowning, insect bites, and obstructions or narrowing of the airways.
- Injuries to the head, wounds, and burns, as well as first aid equipment and prevention. We will address essential questions like "Can a child sleep after a head injury?" and "When does a child require medical treatment?"
- Seizures, neurological emergencies, and poisoning.
- Exclusive and tried-and-true Kinderfee tips for situations like a bead stuck in the nose or the best method for tick removal, medication administration in children, and a variety of safety and prevention suggestions.
